A wide range of activities are funded in the Member States. The following list covers most areas:
- agriculture, fisheries, infrastructure (construction of roads, bridges and railways), education and training, youth, culture, employment and social policy, environmental, health, citizenship, human rights, technology, research, telecommunications, innovation, consumer protection. Part of the EU budget is also spent on funding economic development around the world and on humanitarian aid to help non-EU countries afflicted by natural disasters and other crisis situations.
If you are considering accessing funds from the EU, please either email us at europe@abbeysolutions.co.uk or call us on (00 44) 020 8487 7464.
Important
Please remember most funding will require you to have European partners. The administration of the funding and project management can be significant and trained staff need to be i place to do this or an outside consultancy needs to be used to administer this critical area. Funding will need to be included in any budget to cover the costs of reporting back and project evaluation. Considerable time can elapse between initial enquiries and funding being made. Not all applications are successful, although we can evaluate your chances at a very early stage in the process.
