These are generally not large well known trusts, but smaller family run trusts that give up to 5,000 pounds although we do have trusts which can and do give considerably more. We only ever recommend you carry out a mailing (which must always be tailored) to trusts that do not have websites and where they have not indicated a particular application procedure, e.g. paper application or online form. We have carried as much research on these trusts as is feasibly possible. Every month we check our entire database against available information in the public domain to see if any websites need to be added or criteria updated. We are also in direct contact with trusts and receive feedback from clients who have used a list which is by far the most valuable information. It is this research and our time in supporting you with the appeal that you are paying for. Whether you send out a mailing or not, tailoring your appeal letters is paramount. If it looks like a bland direct marketing letter the chances are it will be rejected and the overall result will be very poor. With Trusts that have defined criteria and websites we strongly recommend you phone the trusts first. Even a tailored application can be rejected if you have not made the effort to call first.
The great news is that the trusts work with large and small charities, local and national, and interestingly most charities contact the trusts to raise money for core funding. You can also check for duplications yourself to make sure you only buy trusts you do not have.

We make every effort you do not purchase trusts that are unlikely to support your type of work. We have segmented the list by area of interest, e.g. education, homelessness, children, elderly, medical research/welfare etc and by geographical preference; from Surrey to India.
